BS-MT Clinical Laboratory Sciences (CLS)

Clinical laboratory sciences provides students with the appropriate academics and professional practices to develop entry level competencies in all routine areas of clinical laboratory, fulfilling the need for qualified technologists in the country and beyond. The clinical laboratory sciences program of NIPARS supports the mission of Dow University of Health Sciences and is committed to produce competent healthcare professionals in the field of diagnostic laboratory science.

RECOGNITION BY GOVERNING BODIES/ COUNCILS
There is no governing body or council of Medical Technology. Curriculum is recognized by HEC through a advisory board.

Title of Degree program: BSMT (CLS): Four years
Total credit hour: 147 CREDIT HOURS

BSMT in Clinical Laboratory Sciences / (BSMT CLS).

SCHEDULE OF COURSE
This is a four years full time course.
The course is divided into eight semesters. Actual teaching is 16 weeks.
Revision and examination is 2 weeks. Inter semester break is 2 weeks.

REWARDING DEGREE
At the end of five years, students who have passed the schedule will be awarded with the degree in Medical Technology ( PS)..

RESEARCH: Research project is compulsory. ATTENDANCE: 75% attendance is compulsory.
