Doctor of Physiotherapy (DPT) (5 Years Program)

We are pleased to announce that we are offering Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) at National institute of physical therapy and rehabilitation Sciences in 2020. NIPARS is the first private institute which is affiliated by DUHS. Dow University is one of the most prestigious degrees awarding university who is offering Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree in Karachi.

Our aim is to provide 5 years program in an interactive teaching environment where every student feels valued and welcome. NIPARS has highly qualified faculty who are very talented and creative, as well as active in their professional field. NIPARS provides various educational activities like conducting CME programs, seminars, hands-on-trainings, clinical rotations in different wards and OPDs of the hospital.

RECOGNITION BY GOVERNING BODIES/ COUNCILS
There is no governing body or council of physiotherapy. Curriculum is recognized by HEC through a advisory board.

TITLE OF COURSE
The doctor of physical therapy / (DPT).

SCHEDULE OF COURSE
This is a five years full time course.
The course is divided into ten semesters. Actual teaching is 18 weeks.
Revision and examination is 2 weeks. Inter semester break is 2 weeks.

REWARDING DEGREE
At the end of the five years, students who have passed the schedule will be awarded with the degree in Doctor of Physical Therapy.

RESEARCH: Research project is compulsory. ATTENDANCE: 75% attendance is compulsory.
